Snailsexy

A very short photo-story about last night's snail race. The one in the second photo won and was, I thought, amazingly quick (and squarely focused on victory). I would have liked to retain him for the next race. We should have raced them vertically up the lats but it's a learning process. No snails were killed, injured or traumatised in this race, though I did accidentally squish two (different) ones in the window later on. There were hundreds of them in our yard last night.
