Dodgy looking superhero drawing

Versions of Black Lightning and Tobias Whale, from my sketchbook. From what I read today Black Lightning is an electrified teacher who lives in a place called Suicide Slum and Tobias Whale, his enemy, heads a a gang of 15th century European immortals called The 100, though Whale is not immortal, he's just a fat albino drug dealer. If I thought I could be arsed to finish it then I would definately try to write a Black Lightning comic.

Jack Johnson sketch

I haven't attempted drawing semi-realistic human figures since I was 16, and that was a while ago, so please excuse the attempt. Based on a photograph in this year's Boxing News Annual (the first), which carries an interview with Johnson.

A Hulk sketch

Coming soon, Hulk vs Jesus Christ.

George Clark

I receive tons, literally tons, of emails, every day, saying things like "Richard, who are your favourite cartoonists?" or "Who are your favourite cartoonists Richard?" and I reply, every time, saying "Guys, I'm all about George Clark, George Clark and George Clark".
Though I am also 'all about' Otto Soglow and Crockett Johnson.

Honk!

An issue of which I bought in Orbital Comics in London recently. Not for much mind.

Otto; like Klaus, but black

Metamorpho

I did this for that Covered blog, but it's been a while now, so I'm going to post it here.
