The covers of some of my old books I found in my parents' garage yesterday. With the obligatory Penguin classic cover, with Quentin Blake illustration. The Flann O'Brien cover is painted by Nick Bantock and the Gide illustration is from a painting by van Dongen.
A friends' EP cover, as yet unfinished. The text needs changing from how I had it (damn it) but the illustration might be the one that's used. It's made from photographs I took at Galloway forest park in Scotland, where I went over Christmas (which was also my birthday). We saw this creepy, I thought, stack of twigs and logs in the forest and the stone, forming the rock-man, was nearby. It's where, I think, Rob Roy rested, on his way from doing some rascally deed, no doubt (!).
